Sadly...

I haven't really had many worthwhile thoughts this week.

However, if you saw my son today, you'd think he's been abused. It's sad really, and funny because he's a boy, and really does just bounce back.

Yesterday, running as fast as his little legs will let him down the hall, trips over nothing, and bashes his forehead into the corner of the doorway. Ouch. Huge goose egg. Probably more like an Ostrich egg.

Today, out at the park, little punk decides to stand up in the stroller. Of course he falls out, head first onto the sidewalk. SPLAT!

Fat lip, and an abrasion on his chin. He looks like an MMA fighter that lost his last fight.

What a kid. Maybe I can post some pics tomorrow.

Amy's contribution:

1. my life
2. my husband
3. my kids
4. those other people in my family
5. my friends
6. my house
7. my church
8. peace and quiet (otherwise known as when the kids are away or asleep)
9. my cat
10. hope

Mine's dull compared to your list.

new rules...

So... the reason posting has been erratic Amy, is that I only do this when I'm at work. And....I've been off for a few days, so here I am. Basically my attendance here is going to be sporadic, but I will try to write something meaningful whenever I can.

Last week I talked about making a list of things I love.

This morning, I will write 10 of them. Amy, you can go ahead and add as many as you wish.

1. I love my Wife and Son.
2. I love football.
3. I love Sports in General.
4. I love motorcycles.
5. I love to drive fast.
6. I love to read good fiction.
7. I love to write. (however, I haven't truly written in many years)
8. I love the Internet.
9. I love the way my kiddo comes and wakes me up in the morning and drags me by the hand to go play with him.
10. I love lots of different TV shows.

Amy....you're up!

Not too many random thoughts today...

Too tired to be creative, will just type whatever pops into my head....

Lots of OT for me this month. I believe 60 hours total. That beaucoup of cash.

I can't believe how many people are calling in sick these days. I'm sure part of it is true, but I also think a lot of people didn't get the time off they wanted so instead they just call in sick. Sweet!

Me and C are definitely going tobogganing tomorrow. The snow may be gone by the end of the week so we have to take advantage. The official wife is getting her hair cut, so we're going to have a father/son outing! Lucky me!

Did you know that there is nothing even remotely entertaining on tv at 0200 am. Nothing, Nada. Zilch. Zippo.

Middle of the Night, Random Thoughts...

Dr. Phil's show a couple of weeks ago about how bad the 911 system is, was an absolute joke.
I'd like to see Dr. Phillis sit in a Communication's Center for a day and see what REALLY happens there.

Snowing again. Still no diabolical storm. But it did make driving into work fun. It's always fulfilling when you can pass a Trooper because they don't know how to driver their rear-wheel drive Patrol car in the snow.

I'm working tonight... which is not usual. But, 8 hours of Overtime at Double Pay is good cash during the Christmas season. Especially since I just put four new tires on the wifeys car.

Apparently people at work think I'm crazy for driving my '91 Cavalier into work without any chains. For one thing, I don't own chains. For two, I've never used chains and probably wouldn't know how to put them on. Remember peeps, I grew up in the Soo... Snow for 6 months out of the year. Now leave me alone already.

Today is PayDay. Nice. Check that. Tomorrow is PayDay.

It's amazing how many pipes are bursting in these parts due to the cold. Houses here just aren't insulated well enough to be able to handle this type of weather.

I wish I had a 4x4 truck with a winch so that I could pull fellow motorists out of the ditch. Its the giving season, so I'd only charge them 40 bucks. Tow trucks are charging 150.

Okay, let's talk about sports. Specifically the NFL. More specifically the Denver Broncos. What a sad state of affairs that team is. They could have wrapped up a division title in either of the last two weeks. But couldn't get it done. Now they have the near impossible task of going to San Diego and beating the Chargers who will be playing for the Division title themselves. Good going guys. Way to waste a season.

I think we'll go tobogganing again today. Must enjoy the snow while we have it because it'll inevitably be gone by the end of the week.

So...with the weather we have right now... I'm not really buying into the whole Global Warming thing.

And...this past summer wasn't all that hot either.

Okay, those are my random thoughts for the day.
